The Monks Lane campus, situated in the up and coming southern part of town, is a modern, purpose built campus that has seen some significant developments since it opened its doors in September 2002.
Our engineering workshops and labs are fully equipped for both electronic and mechanical engineering courses up to Degree level. The addition of the Solutions Lab provides students with the latest in computer aided technology to further progress their skills. The Motor Vehicle workshop has modern facilities to enable students to develop relevant practical and theoretical skills in maintenance, testing and servicing.
The Art Studios and Workshops provide a great space for students to explore and create.
The College boasts a professional training restaurant and kitchen which enables catering and hospitality students the opportunity to test their skills in a real work environment.
There are over 40 spacious classrooms and fully equipped IT suites, complete with interactive whiteboards. Our media suites are kitted out with Macs, fully installed with the latest Adobe software.
Our Sports Hall is a fantastic addition to our College space and expands the range of sporting and enrichment activities available to all students.
The Gym provides all students with the opportunity to participate in physical fitness and well-being activities.
The construction skills workshops enable students to learn a wide range of skills to prepare them for the construction industry, with separate areas for carpentry, plumbing and electrical installation.
Our professional hair and beauty salons offer a real working environment for our students to develop their skills with paying clients.
The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is a modern integrated library service combining traditional print (books and magazines) and IT-based resources. There are study zones for class-based work with computers, study tables and areas for individual study.
The Ormonde Centre is a high-needs facility with unique resources for learners with specific requirements. It has a dedicated entrance and reception area, but is still very much part of the main campus.
