   1. Apply

Complete an application form. This will allow us to register your interest, save you a place on your chosen course and begin your enrolment process. There are many ways you can apply:

   2. Discussion/Interview

Further Education / Higher Education / Part-time Professional / Apprenticeships

We will invite you in for an interview or information session. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you have about your choice of study, discuss any fees or find out about help with travel and other costs. It is also an opportunity for us to make sure you understand the format of the course and that it is suitable for you.

Other courses

If your course does not require an interview, we will still contact you to discuss the course and your enrolment details. You are also welcome to make an appointment with our Advice and Guidance team to discuss your potential career options.

Please note

Some courses may be awaiting awarding body approval and all courses will be subject to a minimum number of students. You will be advised about this during the discussion/interview process. Should your chosen course not run for any reason, we will inform you of this and invite you to make an appointment with our Advice and Guidance team to discuss alternative options.

   3. Accept

Further Education / Higher Education / Part-time Professional / Apprenticeships

You will receive an offer letter in the post. On receipt of your offer letter, formally accept your offer by returning the confirmation slip. This is your opportunity to ask for any further information you may require about your course, any financial support or advise us on any learning support needs you may have.

Other courses

You may receive confirmation of your application and/or an enrolment form to complete. Please complete all sections of the forms/paperwork provided and return them to us to enable us to process your enrolment as efficiently as possible.

   4. Taster Day (Full time courses only)

Full-time students will be invited to a Taster Day. This is an excellent opportunity to experience your chosen course first hand and get a feel for college life.

   5. Enrol

Further Education / Higher Education / Part-time Professional / Apprenticeships

You will receive a letter advising you of your enrolment date/time.

You will need:

  • Copies of your GCSE, A Level or other relevant results/certificates
  • Proof of ID (Passport, Driving Licence or Birth Certificate)
  • £10 registration fee
  • Payment or payment details (for fee-paying students)

Other courses

Your enrolment process will vary depending on your chosen course. You will be advised about how and when to enrol beforehand and you will be informed about any fees or materials costs you need to pay. Please ensure you pay any fees/costs before the first day of your course or you may not be able to attend the classes.
