The tutors of Art, Design & Media are delighted with the high standard of work this year, we are really looking forward to showcasing the product of our students' endeavours, the learners have blown us away with the standard of their final pieces.

The students have responded to a wide-ranging series of briefs and themes throughout the year, producing quality work across a range of disciplines including; Photography, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion / Textiles, Ceramics.

We are proud to say that each of our learners has produced work which is individual and unique to them when responding to a range of themes such as Labyrinth, The Four Elements, Altered as well as ‘Live’ briefs where our students have been working with external clients; ‘The Four Seasons’ work from which was submitted to the open exhibition at Southampton City Gallery, two of our learners were successful in placing their 2D & 3D work with this prestigious Gallery, with one of them securing first prize in the young person category. ‘Survive or Thrive’ – The Level 3 Foundation Diploma Art & Design students have been commissioned by the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) to develop fine artwork around the subject matter of mental health. Follows on from our very successful collaboration last year, from which 18 pieces of student work has been professionally framed and displayed in the consultation rooms and public areas of the CAHMS building which is located behind the hospital in Thatcham.
