Overview

This course will equip learners with a detailed understanding of behaviour that challenges, including how to support positive behaviour, the importance of effective communication in managing behaviour, and the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

This course is ideal for learners who wish to develop an in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges in order to progress into related employment in health and social care. Anyone who currently works in education or health and social care settings would also benefit from the course

This course exists of 4 mandatory units:

? Assessment 1 - Understand behaviour that challenges ? Assessment 2 - Understand how to support positive behaviour ? Assessment 3 - Understand the importance of effective communication and the management of behaviour that challenges ? Assessment 4 - Understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

Entry Requirements

Our Level 2 and Level 3 Digital and Distance Learning courses are available for FREE to UK/EU nationals aged 19 and over, who agree to take their qualification as part of a Digital and Distance Learning Programme. The programme includes the main qualification and short, additional workbook.

Ages 24+: Our L2 Distance Learning qualifications are free to EU/UK Nationals regardless of previous qualifications.

Ages 19 to 23 are eligible for free courses if they have already achieved a full L2 qualification or equivalent. Please contact us for clarification.

Ages 19 to 23 who have not already achieved a full L2 qualification may be subject to costs. Please contact us for clarification.

Skills

Basic computer skills to operate the Online Learning Platform are advisable.

Qualifications

NCFE CACHE L2 in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges

Assessment

This course is distance learning. Assessment is by successful completion of all units on the online learning platform which is then internally and externally moderated before certification.

Home Study

Approximately 130 hours study. No lessons but there is support from the specialist tutor available if required. Study will be home-based and at the student's discretion within the timeframe stipulated by tutor.

Work Placement

Student does not have to work in this sector to complete the course.
