This course is about the application of self-tanning products to specific areas of the body, including the face, neck and shoulders, lower arms and hands, lower legs and feet. To undertake this course students need to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures throughout their work.

You will have the opportunity to use a variety of techniques that you can use for personal use. There will be both a practical and theory element to this course.

There are no formal qualifications attached to this course but you will receive a College certificate.


Students are assessed through a combination of practical performed on self and peers.

Home Study

This is a short course and no homework will be set. Students are however encouraged to continue practicing the skills they learn and put them into practice.

Work placement is not required for this programme.
