Higher education qualifications are equivalent to one or two years at university and cost significantly less than university fees. Our high-quality Foundation Degree, HNC and HND courses provide you with the skills you need to succeed, whether you want to go on to further study at university or develop a career. We have links with some excellent universities including University of Reading, Southampton Solent and University of Buckingham.
At Newbury College we are skilled in developing training packages specifically for individual companies through our open and bespoke Management Workshop programmes and Legal Compliance courses.
Community Learning courses at Newbury College range from arts and crafts to welding and web design. We have a huge choice of interesting subjects to help you develop a new hobby or learn a valuable skill.
We also offer a fantastic selection of family learning activities for you and your little ones from spooky Halloween crafts to hand decorating Easter eggs.
Digital and Distance Learning
Learn at your own pace in the comfort of your own home, in the office or anywhere you want. Digital and distance learning courses are available in a wide range of subjects with many leading to recognised qualifications. These flexible qualifications are available throughout the year and whilst you are able to choose when you wish to study you still receive the support of a dedicated tutor on a one-to-one basis throughout your course.
Essential Skills (English and Maths)
Essential Skills classes are a range of English and Maths courses that provide an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification. There are five levels from beginner to GCSE, so there is a level for everyone. These courses are for anyone who wants to improve their skills, whether they are looking for entry to a higher level course or did not do as well as they could have at school.
