Leisure Courses
The Adult and Community Learning department at Newbury College offers a wide selection of part time leisure courses in a variety of venues across the West Berkshire area. The courses on offer range from Beekeeping to Yoga and Languages to Pottery.
The majority of our courses are designed for adults to develop creative skills or pursue hobbies or interests. However, there is a small selection of courses that we offer, such as the City & Guilds Gardening Certificate and British Sign Language Certificate, which lead to qualifications.
We also provide family learning activities and work focused skills training for the unemployed. In addition to this we have a selection of courses for adults with learning difficulties, which encompasses a wide range of activities including computing, cookery, music and drama.
Many of our courses are subsidised by West Berkshire Council and other fee concessions are available if you are in receipt of means tested benefits.
