Our training suites give you access to a range of courses and IT qualifications that you can follow at your convenience. We take an informal approach to learning, so whatever your age, circumstances or level you can learn new computer skills in a friendly and familiar environment.  IT Skills can enhance your career prospects or simply help you get the most out of modern technology.

We offer:

IT training is offered at both Business Centres in Newbury and Calcot on a drop in basis, with staff on hand to support you.

ITQ - the New NVQ for IT

ITQ is an NVQ qualification designed to acquire and prove you have the skills, knowledge and understanding to use IT for practical use.  It is an exciting, flexible qualification aimed at an individual who uses IT in their job role or other function.

If you use IT skills now, or will need to in the future, ITQ could be the way to learn and improve your skills or gain a certificate to prove the skills you already have.

The ITQ is accredited by the British Computer Society.  BCS IT USER is internationally recognised.

 

BCS IT Users Level 1 and 2 - European Computer Driving Licence

  • Accreditated IT qualification
  • Level 1 -  Basic Concepts of IT, Using the Computer and Managing Files, Information and Communication
  • Level 2 -  Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database, Presentations, and Using IT

BCS Level 3 Certificate in Using ICT (ECDL Advanced)

  • This incorporates Using IT (Unit E) from ECDL and a choice of 3 out of 4 subjects - Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations and Databases.
