Overview

To provide the learner with a broad knowledge, understanding and the skills and training to become qualified within site carpentry. Know how to carry out safe working practices in construction.

Construct an external inspection hatch.

Progression

Candidates are able to progress to the NVQ L1 or continue to study and achieve the Level 2 (QCF) Diploma in Site Carpentry, Many craft occupations can often move into supervision, management or technical support areas.
