Overview
Learn about health and safety legislation and examine a range of practical health and safety issues that arise in the work place. Total cost including certification for a group of five candidates is 275. ( Minimum group size of 5 - additional persons 55 each).The course material also promotes a preventative approach to hazards and risks and therefore by implementing and using health and safety measures you can save lives.
This course can also be used as part of CPD.This programme contains five sections:
Section 1: The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

Employers duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Employees duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Enforcement of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
Section 2: Regulations controlling working conditions
The Workplace (Health and Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992
Section 3: The process of risk assessment
The five stages of risk assessment:
1.Identifying hazards
2.Decide who might be harmed and how
3.Evaluating risk
4.Recording risk assessment
5.Reviewing risk assessment
Section 4: Regulations that require risk assessments
