Overview

This course is aimed at learners who have already completed the Beginners' course or those looking to improve on their basic knowledge of Ballroom and Latin American dance. Learners will need to bring the following to the first session; their completed Physical Readiness Questionnaire, a bottle of water, comfortable shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. Please enrol early for this course to avoid disappointment.

Learners will revise the basics of some well-known dances Social Rhythm, Waltz, Quickstep, Cha Cha Cha, Jive, and Salsa; therefore a basic knowledge of all of these is required. In addition this course will include some, or all of the following: Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba and Samba.

It is hoped that by the end of the course, learners will have revised dances to the beginners' standard, and in addition become familiar with further dances and add more challenging and intricate variations to all or some of the dances. Plenty of time will be allowed for revision and practice.
