Overview
This course is designed to provide learners with the tools to create wellbeing and a better understanding of oneself. Learners should have completed the 'Bite Size NLP' course or have some prior knowledge of NLP before enrolling on this course. Learners need to bring the following to the first class: pen and paper.To assist learners to apply NLP principles and approaches to life whilst increasing their appreciation and understanding of themselves and others the course will cover:
Living the presuppositions of NLP - Learners will be encouraged to notice and apply the presuppositions to how they are experiencing their lives.
Solving people problems - Learners will learn a basic technique for dealing with difficult interpersonal issues
Meta Programmes - Learners will be introduced to the NLP approach to psychological typing.
Beliefs - Learners will build their awareness of the importance of beliefs and will learn some strategies for changing beliefs.
Language - Learners will develop an understanding of the language of influence.
*PLEASE NOTE- The running of this course is subject to receiving sufficient enrolment numbers. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.
Progression
Learners can progress laterally to other personal development courses. The tutor will be able to give advice on the correct path of progression for the individual.Assessment
Progress on this course will be tested through observation, presentation and lecturer feedback.Entry Requirements
Learners must complete the 'Bite Size: NLP' workshop before enrolling on this course.Qualifications
This course does not lead to a formal qualification.Home Study
There is no mandatory homeowrk for this course, although learners will benefit from reading up material covered in class, at home.Skills
Work Placement
