Cookie Making - Part Two

Overview

This course is designed as a follow on from 'Cookie Making - Part One', however new learners are also welcome to enrol. Further develop your skills and abilities and create some delicious homemade cookies. A list of ingredients needed for the session, will be sent out to the learner after enrolment. Learners will also be required to bring the following; an apron, a tea-towel, a pen, notebook and a container to take their cookies home in.

This course is designed as a follow on course from the 'Cookie Making - Part One' course. Further develop your new skills in baking delicious homemade cookies. Further recipes and techniques will be explored on this workshop to create some different varieties of delicious homemade cookies. If you have any food allergies, please ensure you inform the office upon enrolment so that the course can be adapted accordingly.

*PLEASE NOTE- This course running is subject to receiving a minimum of 6 enrolments. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.

Progression

Learners can progress to other cookery courses, such as 'Cake Decorating' or 'Italian Desserts'.

Assessment

Learners will be assessed throughout the day by tutor observation and one-to-one and group feedback.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

Qualifications

This course does not lead to a formal qualification.

Skills

Work Placement

Learners do not need to be in relevant work to undertake this course.

Additional Costs

Learners will be required to pay a one-off materials fee of 2.00, payable at enrolment, to cover the cost of the materials used by the tutor for demonstration purposes. The learner will also be required to purchase their own ingredients for the course.
