Discover How to Make Handmade Chocolates

Overview

This one-day workshop will introduce learners to the art of chocolate making. Learn how to create beautiful professional handmade chocolates. Suitable for learners of all levels and abilities. Learners will need to bring the following to the session; their ingredients (a list of ingredients will be sent out to learners before the session), an apron, a tea-towel, a container to take chocolates home in and a pen and notebook for taking notes.

This one-day workshop will introduce learners to the art of chocolate making. Learn how to create beautiful handmade chocolates that will be enjoyed by all.

Over the course of the day learners will be taught basic chocolate skills and a variety of different techniques, which will be explained and demonstrated.

By the end of the workshop learners will have created their very own handmade chocolates ready to take home to be enjoyed by friends and family, or to give away as beautifully individual and thoughtful gifts.

*PLEASE NOTE- This course running is subject to receiving a minimum of 6 enrolments. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.

Progression

Learners can progress onto any number of other cookery courses and workshops.

Assessment

Progress on this course will be assessed through observation and lecturer feedback.

Learners do not need to be in relevant work to undertake this course.

Additional Costs

There is an additional fee of 5.00, payable at enrolment, which covers the cost of the materials used by the tutor for demonstration purposes. Learners will be required to purchase their own ingredients for the session (a detailed list will be sent out by post after enrolment).
