Create E-Cards with Desktop Publishing
Overview
Learn how to use digital publishing software to design and create outstanding digital greetings cards.Learners will use a combination of text frames, Word Art, clipart and pictures to create individual greetings cards. Learners will understand the importance of page set up and laying out the card in relation to the finished product. This will be printed in colour for the learner to take away.
Ahead of the course, consideration should be given to the type of card to be produced. Who is the recipient? What is the occasion? Learners may bring their own photographs to incorporate if they wish, preferably on a USB memory stick. Also, if the learner wishes to save their work, they should bring with them a USB memory stick.
*PLEASE NOTE - The running of this course is subject to receiving a minimum of 6 enrolments. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.
Assessment
Learner progress will be assessed by observation, questions and answers and achievement of the set project.Entry Requirements
