eBay for Beginners

Overview

This course is aimed at learners who have never used eBay, but would like to create an account to buy or sell items over the internet. Learners will need to bring the following to class; a pen/pencil, notebook. Optional: photos of any items they wish to sell on EBay, either on a memory stick or camera (if bringing camera, learners must ensure they have all the correct wires to connect the camera to the computer)

This course is aimed at learners who have never used EBay, but would like to create an account to buy or sell items over the internet. The course will look at the basics of the site/ site navigation, setting up an account, bidding for items, selling items, how to make your item sell/ uploading photos and any other specifics that the learner would like to know.

*PLEASE NOTE- This course running is subject to receiving a minimum of 6 enrolments. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.

Progression

Learners can progress onto the next EBay workshop, 'EBay - A Step Further'.

Assessment

Learners will be assessed through tutor observation and feedback, both one-to-one and group.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course; however learners should be computer literate.

Qualifications

This course does not lead to a formal qualification.

Skills

Learners should be able to use a computer to a basic standard.

Work Placement

Learners do not need to be in relevant work to undertake this course.
