Microsoft PowerPoint 2007/2010 for Improvers
Overview
This course is aimed at learners with a basic understanding of the use and application of presentation software. This course is designed to boost learners' skills to produce captivating presentation, using eye catching design and animation features. Learners will need to bring the following to class: USB stick, pen and paper to take notes (optional).The features covered by this course include: creating your own slide design, effectively using slide transitions, including animation in your presentation, customising layouts and templates, delivering a presentation professionally.
*PLEASE NOTE- This course running is subject to receiving a minimum of 6 enrolments. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.
Progression
Learners can progress to other ICT related courses. The tutor will be able to give advice on the correct path of progression for the individual.Assessment
No formal assessments are carried out on this course. Learners are informally assessed through exercises and tutor observation.Entry Requirements
