Fabulous Fabric Jewellery
Overview
Learn to make a range of fabulous felt and fabric jewellery using ribbon yarns, beads, buttons and embellishments. A fun workshop suitable for everyone - no experience necessary. Learners will need to bring the following to the workshop; 3 to pay for materials, pen/ pencil, notebook, sharp scissors and glasses if needed (some of the sewing/ beading is quite close up). All other tools and materials will be provided.Over the course of the workshop we will use lovely fabrics, felt, beads and buttons to learn how to make funky flower brooches, bag embellishments and bracelets. Several different techniques will be covered with lots of demonstrations and step by step instructions. No experience necessary.
*PLEASE NOTE- This course running is subject to receiving a minimum of 6 enrolments. Newbury College reserve the right to close, cancel or postpone a course if it has not received the minimum required enrolment number by the scheduled start date. In the case of cancellation, enrolled learners will be notified 3 days prior to the start of the course and are entitled to claim for a full refund of their course fees.
Progression
Learners can progress onto the other jewellery workshops, including 'Beautiful Beaded Jewellery'.Assessment
Learners will be assessed through tutor observation and feedback. There will also be an informal group review at the end of the workshop.Entry Requirements

Learners do not need to be in relevant work to undertake this course.Additional Costs
