Technology and Work-Based Learning Centre

Motor Vehicle and Engineering

The Technology area includes a motor vehicle workshop, welding facilities, engineering lathes, and work benches for woodwork, metalwork and textiles.

Training is mainly undertaken by apprentices on day release.

The College also has two IT centres in Newbury town Centre and at Sainsburys in Calcot.


Construction

Construction

Construction students benefit from two purpose built workshops in which to practice trade skills such as bricklaying and plumbing. The main construction training centre is based at New Greenham Park.

The Construction Workshops are supported by companies such as B&Q, Homebase and Jewsons.


IT and Computing

Computing

Newbury College has state of the art IT training suites and offer full and part time computing courses.

There are also IT Training Centres at the main Monks Lane campus and at an IT Centre based above Sainsbury's, Calcot, just off Juntion 12 of the M4.
