Newbury College Student Council

Join our active Student Council!

Newbury College is committed to listening to and acting upon the views, suggestions and ideas of its student community.

All students will automatically become members of the Student Council on enrolment and these members nominate course Student Representatives to take their views and comments to the Student Forum.

A student intranet website and events programme are provided for all members and Student Representatives are encouraged to support and contribute to increasing the services and events on offer.

The Student Council has been involved in supporting Children in Need, Comic/Sports Relief, World AIDS Day and the Women For Women Campaign, as well as many enrichment activities including the popular Try Something Different 'Class Wars' competition, trips and an annual Summer Prom.

What are the benefits?

Being a member has many advantages including involvement in events, excursions and discounts at selected outlets in the local area.

The Student Council is committed to supporting students throughout their study at the College.

If you want to find out more, please contact the Student Council by calling 01635 845251 or email live@newbury-college.ac.uk.
