Careers Advice

Careers Library

Located in the Learner Services Information Centre, there is a large stock of books, college and university prospectuses and computer software available to help our learners make choices about their future.  There is also a virtual careers libray available on 'Moodle', Newbury College's learner intranet site.   Careers Advisers are also happy to help.

Connexions Service

A team of Personal Advisers from the Connexions Service is attached to the College to offer informed, impartial and confidential advice to our learners up to the age of 20 (older in some circumstances). Their role is to help you find out about, and achieve, your options for the future including careers, jobs, university and training. They will also help support you to overcome any barriers that may prevent your learning or progress including health, finance, and housing.

NextStep

In addition to our own Advice and Guidance Team, the Nextstep Berkshire Service can help learners aged 20+ plan their future including careers options and education and training opportunities. Please contact 0800 1954 700 or ask at the Learner Services and Information desk for further details.
